William Arnold showed how it was done at Craig y Nos Country Park on wednesdays 3rd Night League of the season. Under clear skies with shooting stars he reinforced his recent award as most improved junior by beating nearest rival Iestyn Evans by 7 minutes.

45 club members braved the snow and enjoyed a festive afternoon at the Pumphouse Inn at which the 2017 club championships, summer league winners and the special awards were presented. SBOC were delighted to hear that after a long judges deliberation, that Brendan (the Bolt) Healy snatched the fastest sprint time for the run in at the Compass sport Cup final. He tied for first place with two M21s Jamie Parkinson and the reigning champion Murray Strain.
This late news rounded off a really successful venture by the club to Plymouth for the final.!
