The results of the Welsh League event on Mynydd y Garn are now available here and you can find Routegadget for the event here.
A good turn out enjoyed their chance to run on this rarely used technical area and to test themsleves against the great courses planned by Ben Mitchell.
Some obviously enjoyed it so much they decided to take their time to really explore the area.
British athlete Megan Carter-Davies posted an impressive sub hour time to win the Brown course ahead of Ben Maliphant and Duncan Birtwhistle. On the Blue Course Adam Conway from Guildford Orienteers had an excellent run with a time of 52mins 40 secs some way ahead of Clare Dallimore and Duncan Innes. Steve Jones from host club SBOC won the Green, just ahead of Rebecca Ward and Jill Manning. On the Short Green Course David Plamer from Bristol beat youngsters Freddie lake and Nicolas Barrett. On the Light Green Lyra Medlock from Wessex Orienteers saw off North Gloucester juniors Jessican Ward and Reuben Lawson. Seth Lwason restored the family pride winning the Orange, while Eskarina Medlock equalled her sister Lyra by winning the Yellow course.

Thanks to all that came and a big thank you to the small hardy bunch of Swansea Bay volunteers that made this event possible.
