The Bank Holiday saw SBOC members winning major events around the UK. Ben Mitchell won the Scottish Championships M21E race in Dumfries and Galloway against a very competitive field, including a number of British Squad athletes, winning by a marging of 6 minutes. An excellent run in a tough area. At the same time in Shropshire, mother and daughter, Margaret (W55) and Katie Reynolds (W21E) were winning their respective classes over the 3 Day Springtime in Shropshire event. This comprised an Urban event around Shrewsbury, a long distance event on Brown Clee HIll, location of the British Championships in 2016 and then a middle distance on The Wrekin, a tough very steep hill near Bridgenorth. Freddie Lake came 2nd on the M14 and Kerina Lake came 3rd on W40 to complete a very successful weekend for SBOC runners.
